Interview Question Change

Image
I have decided to change the location of where I was going to for my interview. It was a spur of the moment thing but I felt like this place was a better fit to match my magazine. The place is called end to end gallery in Hollywood, Florida. This place allows artists to sell their art works and I love the message of the business so I decided to email the owner since I was talking to his friend that watched over the location. I already have a 13 minutes recording of him talking. I’ll write what he said in a different post. These were the questions I emailed:  1. What’s you’re name? 2. How long have you been in this business?  3. What inspired you to name it “End to End Gallery” 4. Did you have any business partners or do you own this yourself? 5. What made you want to start this business in Hollywood instead of Miami Beach or Hallandale? 6. What inspired your love for artwork?  7.  Are any of these artists significant to you? 8. How much business do you receive on a daily basis?

Practicing Interview

Hello, today in class we learned how to write interviews. I interviewed a child in my class Questions and Answers: 1. Who are you? Valeria Giraldo 2. How old are you? 17 3. Are you in a relationship? Yes 4. What is his name? Gio  5. How did you guys meet? “We’ve always knew about each other. We would see each other around. My friend Davonte, was friends with him. They communicated with each other constantly so he had no problem asking him for my Snapchat username. We started texting on there constantly. He did ask me out a couple of times but I rejected him. I wasn’t interested. There were also rumors about him that I wasn’t sure were true. The following year we ended up having the same P.E class and we started talking there. He wished me a happy birthday since it just passed.” 6. So what kept the relationship alive?  “We started hanging out a lot but when covid hit, it did slow down a bit. We were on FaceTime a lot since the lockdown obstructed our chances to gang out places. When

Writing Leads Pt.3

Image
Hey! Since we will be writing a feature story for our article, we have to make sure our writing is up to par. Our teacher has us practicing how to write our leads. This is my third one. Title of Lead: Free Cars Inquiry  Describe the lead: Twist These are the facts: Someone called 18 people in the city last night. The caller identified himself as the president of Rutherford Ford, Inc., 2780 Doss Boulevard. He told each of the people that they had just won a new car from his dealership. Interviewed by reporters today, most of the people who received the calls said that at first they just couldn't believe it. And they were right. They couldn't. The person who called was a prankster, and Allen Rutherford, president of the dealership, says he has no idea who placed he calls, and that he's spending all his time today trying to explain the situation to those 18 people. "Someone apparently has a sick idea of humor," Rutherford said. After convincing people they had won

Writing Leads Pt.2

Hi! Since we will be writing a feature story for our article, we have to make sure our writing is up to par. Our teacher has us practicing how to write our leads. This is my second one. Title of Lead: Teacher from Hell? Describe the lead: direct quote     These are the facts: The police in this municipality received a call at 3:45 p.m. yesterday afternoon. A woman shouted at the sergeant who answered the telephone. She said: "My son's been beaten. His teacher whipped him this afternoon, and he's all red where she paddled him. Can teachers do that? That's assault and battery, and I want her arrested." Two police officers were sent to the home. They questioned the boy, who is 9 years old. At his mother's insistence, the police officers also inspected the boy's reported injuries. They reported: "We couldn't tell that the boy had been paddled. His fanny didn't look red to us, but we did notice that his pants legs were wet and muddy. As we talked,
