Content of a Magazine

      Content is very important when it comes to a magazine. This is the thing that makes people want to continue reading your magazine. If your writing is great and on an amazing story, this keeps your reading engaged. 

      The 6 tips you need to make sure your content for your magazine is appealing would be by targeting your pitch carefully, becoming a specialist, do plenty of research, considering magazine audience, keeping track of personnel changes of the magazine, no and being flexible. 

1. Targeting your Pitch Successfully

     This is very important because your pitch has to have the same concept of the magazine. If your magazine is about cars, you’re not going to write an article about a dress. 

2. Becoming a Specialist 

     Knowing what you’re talking about also will engage the audience. If you find a topic that you’re interested in and know a lot about, this increases the quality of your writing.

3. Do plenty of Research 

    When completing an article of a magazine, you have to do research to corroborate your message. It’s better to have more statistics, quotes, and sources. 

4. Considering Magazine Audience

     Having an relationship with your readers is important. Your diction is important for the readers to understand and create that relationship with you. Depending on the topic, you can’t use such technical words.

5. Keeping Track of Personnel Changes of the Magazine

    Having a relationship then having a great story is more important because having that relationship with a person can further your career in the long run. With that foundation, you have a better shot at letting your story be told.

6. Be Flexible 

     You have to understand not everything will go as planned and you need to be adaptive. Not meeting an article word count may be an issue you have, or a article needing a different approach. You have to be able to switch it when needed.

Photo Composition Info Pt.1

     Hello you guys! Long time, no see. So yes, I’ve been busy learning the new techniques that photographers use to take photos. I even learned Mise-en-scene (however I’ll explain that later). Yesterday, in class, I ended up doing a practice assignment identifying certain elements such as camera shots, angles, composition, and mise-en-scene that were in a video that was shown. It was a mistreating assignment. Although I didn’t not know what kind of answer my teacher was looking for, I explained how each kind of element was used to convey meaning in the scene. Hopefully I did well.
